Orla (Japanese: オリオ Orio) is a supporting character in Pokémon Horizons: The Series. She is a machine enthusiast and a member of the Rising Volt Tacklers.
In the anime
History
Orla debuted in HZ001 alongside the other members of the Rising Volt Tacklers. She and her teammates were searching for Liko at Indigo Academy, but to no avail. In the following episode, she appeared inside the Brave Asagi's engine room, fueling the airship during the Explorers' pursuit.
In HZ003, Orla stayed at the Brave Asagi to repair the power room. At the end of the day, Orla and the rest of the Rising Volt Tacklers took Liko as one of their own.
In HZ005, Orla briefly battled alongside Murdock against Zir and Conia. As Roy approached alongside a group of Bug-type wild Pokémon, they ran back to the Brave Asagi to fix its balloon gasbag, leaving Mollie to face off against Zir. In the next episode, she welcomed Roy after he became part of the group.
Character
Orla is a welcoming individual, as seen in HZ003, when it was revealed to have lent her room for Liko to stay for the night before she was even part of the Rising Volt Tacklers. She was also the first long-time member of the group who welcomed Roy after he became one of them.
Orla is also a very diligent and hard-working person, responsible for observing any possible damages done to the Brave Asagi and reporting on them. She can overexert herself while working on the repairs, such as seen in HZ005, when she stayed up during the night in an attempt to patch up the holes on the airship's gasbag.
She is skillful at her own profession, but seems to be rather clumsy outside of it.

Metagross is Orla's only known Pokémon. It is used to help repair the Brave Asagi. In HZ005, Orla used Metagross to battle alongside Murdock's Rockruff against Conia's Golduck and Zir's Rhydon.
