Debut Giving Chase at the Rhyhorn Race!

Odyssey Village (Japanese: スミル村 Sumiru Village) is an anime-exclusive location in Kalos. It is located between Santalune City and Lumiose City. It is a small settlement that holds the starting point for a Rhyhorn racetrack and a Pokémon Center.

In Giving Chase at the Rhyhorn Race!, Ash and his friends were making their way back to Lumiose City after having visited Santalune City. On the way, they were almost trampled by a group of racing Rhyhorn. Soon after, an Officer Jenny arrived on the scene and told them they were on a Rhyhorn racetrack, which is off-limits to travelers. She then took them to Odyssey Village. There, Ash decided to participate in a race and borrowed a Rhyhorn from the Rhyhorn rental place. However, the race was interrupted by Team Rocket who attempted and failed to steal the Rhyhorn and Ash's Pikachu.
