Nihil Light (move)
Nihil Light (Japanese: 無に帰す光 Light That Returns to Nothing) is a damage-dealing Dragon-type move introduced during Generation IX, in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. It is the signature move of Mega Zygarde and an upgraded version of its other signature move, Core Enforcer.

Effect
Generation IX
Nihil Light deals damage and ignores any stat changes affecting its targets. It also bypasses Fairy-type Pokémon's immunity to Dragon-type moves, dealing neutral damage; if used on a dual-type Pokémon that has Fairy as one of its types, the damage calculation will take into account only the other type (e.g., a dual-type Fairy/Dragon Pokémon will be treated only as Dragon-type, and Nihil Light will be super effective).

Trivia
- Nihil is Latin for "nothing". Altogether, the move's name may be a corruption of "annihilate".
- Nihil Light is the last Generation IX move in index number order.
- Nihil Light is the only new move introduced in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
- It is also the only move to be exclusive to a Mega-Evolved Pokémon.
- Nihil Light is tied with a Devastating Drake based on Roar of Time for the highest base power of all Dragon-type moves.
- L mentions to the player that seeing Mega Zygarde use Nihil Light reminded him of Z-Moves.[1]
- The Japanese name of Nihil Light uses kanji, which is similar to some Pokémon-specific Z-Moves.
- This move is similar to Light That Burns the Sky specifically, which can be only used after Necrozma undergoes Ultra Burst, much like how Zygarde needs to Mega Evolve in order to use Nihil Light.
