Pokémon Horizons: The Series

Nemona with Liko and Roy

Nemona first appeared in Nemona and Brassius and... while winning a battle against a Trainer. Some time before meeting Liko and Roy, Nemona came to Artazon town to meet with Brassius and discuss his absence from the Gym. Upon being introduced to the young Trainers, Nemona joined them to go to the Gym and meet Brassius. During the meeting, they discussed their works and when Roy spoke about the Black Rayquaza, Brassius kicked everyone out of his house. While discussing why Brassius acted the way he did, Liko came to the conclusion that Brassius might have writer's block. After that, Nemona took Liko and Roy to the Sunflora Lawn and decided to group as many Sunflora to create inspiration for Brassius again, showing them later that she managed to gather fifteen species. After Brassius saw the group's determination and his Dolliv's insistence, Brassius presented Nemona, Liko and Roy with a work based on his vision of Rayquaza. As soon as Brassius challenged Roy to a battle, Nemona watched the battle along with Liko and explained some concepts like Terastallization to her. At the end, Brassius presented another work of his to the group, one based on the forest's Arboliva.

Nemona reuniting with Liko, Roy, and Dot at Naranja Academy

In the next episode, Nemona accompanied Liko, Roy, and Mollie into the Arboliva's Forest. Upon arriving, Nemona said goodbye to the group and said that the next time she would met them, she would like to have a battle with Roy.

Nemona appeared in a flashback to Liko and Roy's journey in From So Far Away.

In Welcome to Naranja Academy!, Nemona reunited with Liko and Roy and met Dot after they enrolled at Naranja Academy to train for the Tera Training. During the reunion, Liko and Roy discovered that Nemona's Pawmo evolved, and shortly thereafter, Nemona challenged Roy to a battle but was stopped by Clavell. Shortly after, Nemona showed off the Academy to the freshmen and introduced Elite Four members Rika and Hassel to her friends. After Liko and Ann's battle, Nemona appeared again wanting to battle but was interrupted by the ringing of the Academy's bell.

Nemona and Roy

In Sparkle! The Glow of Fire and Art!, Nemona was in Artazon again helping with an Art Festival that would be held by Naranja Academy and Brassius: Upon meeting Roy again, Nemona immediately challenged him to a battle which she won without much difficulty, despite Roy and Fuecoco gave their best. After the battle, Nemona took her friends to the workshop where work was being done. After Liko, Roy and Dot showed off their art, Nemona watched Roy's battle against Brassius. Some time later, it was revealed that Nemona took a photo with Liko, Roy and Dot before separating from the group.

In Showdown! The Paldea Elite Four, Nemona reunited with Liko, Roy, and Dot when they returned to Naranja Academy, after explaining their next challenge, Nemona watched the students' battles against Paldea's Elite Four. After Roy's defeat in the battle against Hassel, Nemona came personally to tell him to continue doing his best. In next episode, Nemona watched Liko and Katy's battle against Rika alongside Roy and Ann.

In Resonating Spirits in a Challenge to Ryme!, it was revealed that Nemona traveled to Montenevera, and after saving Terapagos from falling from the sky, Nemona reunited with Liko, Roy, and Dot again. Soon after, Nemona watched alongside Liko and Dot as Roy battled Ryme, and when Roy was defeated, Nemona joined the girls to see how Roy and Fuecoco were doing. In the following episode, in order to cheer Roy up, Nemona held a Hyper Training with him and Fuecoco. As the afternoon wore on, Nemona joined the group and heard the story of why Roy likes to sing. Later, Nemona watched Roy and Ryme's rematch and after Roy's victory, she congratulated him for advancing another step in the Tera Training.

Nemona with Penny and Arven

In Infiltrating the System! Naranja Academy in Danger!, Nemona met with Liko, Roy, and Dot again. After talking about the progress of the Tournament for the Tera Training students, she watched the battles while Liko and Roy solved a problem at Naranja Academy involving the Explorers. In the next episode, Nemona praised Roy and Liko's heroic actions in saving the school from the Explorers, whom she heard from Penny. Soon after, Nemona watched Liko and Roy's battle alongside Penny and Arven, and after Roy's victory, Nemona congratulated him on the result and said she was proud of Roy's progress up to that point alongside Ryme.

In Terastallization vs. Mega Evolution!, Nemona was at Naranja Academy strolling around when she noticed Dendra and her Hariyama chasing after Ult, believing he was up to no good. Nemona and Dendra caught Ult and his Sableye. Eventually, Nemona reunited with Liko, Roy, and Dot, who clarified that Ult was their teammate. Nemona then decided to challenge Roy to a Double Battle, having wanted to battle him again after a long time, which he eagerly accepted, with Nemona's Pawmot and Ribombee against Roy's Crocalor and Lucario. It was an intense battle, with Nemona using various tactics to defend, heal, and attack, but Roy was able to employ clever tactics to overcome these measures. In the climax of the battle, Nemona Terastallized her Pawmot while Roy Mega Evolved his Lucario, with Lucario emerging victorious. Pawmot's defeat led to Roy being declared the winner. After the battle, Nemona congratulated Roy, while Ult wanted to battle her next. To everyone's surprise, Penny challenged Dot to a battle instead. In the next episode, Nemona analyzed the battle between Penny and Dot. At the end of the day, when saying goodbye to the group, she highlighted how much they have evolved as people and Trainers and that she expects great things from them.

In HZ115, Nemona returned as a student at Blueberry Academy. She had a Double Battle against Roy, using her Pawmot and Decidueye to battle Crocalor and Lucario. Using Decidueye's Spirit Shackle to stop Lucario from moving, Nemona was able to defeat Lucario before defeating Crocalor, winning her the match. After the battle, Nemona returned to Paldea.

Nemona witnessing the use of a Strong Sphere on a Pokémon for the first time

In HZ126, Nemona participated in a meeting between Clavell, Geeta, Penny, and the Rising Volt Tacklers regarding the data they collected from the Strong Sphere. After the Strong Sphere was banned at Naranja Academy, Nemona watched the battle between Liko and Dash, where she witnessed the item's destructive potential. Later, after learning about all the events the Rising Volt Tacklers witnessed, Nemona volunteered alongside Penny to fight against the Explorers' plans.

In HZ127, Nemona battled against Roy with her Pawmot against Roy's Lucario once again. After a tough fight, Nemona Terastallized Pawmot while Roy Mega-evolved his Lucario, with both Pokemon clashing attacks with each other. In the end Pawmot dodged Lucario's final attack at the last moment and defeated it with Mach Punch, winning Nemona the battle.

In HZ131, Nemona, along with Penny and Ann, traveled to Levincia to reunite with the Rising Volt Tacklers. Some time later, she joined the others and they watched Roy's battle against Master Mayonnaise. During the battle, Nemona was able to perceive that Roy was out of sync with Lucario, which prevented it from Mega Evolving. In the next episode, Nemona traveled with the group to Diana's castle in Galar. During Roy's rematch against Master Mayonnaise, Nemona joined Liko and explained to her about the bond that Roy and his Pokémon had regarding Aura.

Character

Nemona ready to battle

Nemona is a very friendly and kind person, quickly making friends with Liko and Roy. Nemona has a very supportive personality, showing this when she tried to encourage Roy to continue doing his best in battles after being defeated by Hassel.

She also has a huge passion for Pokémon battles, challenging different Trainers as she encounters them on her way to a battle. During the time that Liko and Roy spent at Naranja Academy, Nemona often challenged people to battle, but was always interrupted by something. In addition to this, in Resonating Spirits in a Challenge to Ryme!, Nemona revealed that she enjoys following some events that involve Pokémon battles, which motivated her to travel to Montenevera just to watch the battles that happened at Ryme's show.

As expected from a Champion, Nemona is well respected in the Paldea region, as shown during her first appearance and when Nemona met Dot who was quite embarrassed in Nemona's presence. It is indicated that this recognition of Nemona's abilities extended to other regions, as in HZ115, it was shown that the students of Blueberry Academy were quite impressed with Nemona. Despite her young age she is shown to be very knowledgeable about various topics in the Pokémon world such as the Terastal phenomenon and Aura.

Pawmot is Nemona's first known Pokémon and is usually seen outside of its Poké Ball. It first appeared as a Pawmo in Nemona and Brassius and..., where it was seen battling a Trainer's Skiploom, which it defeated with Spark. During the encounter with Brassius, Pawmo was frequently hit by the oil of his Dolliv.

In Welcome to Naranja Academy!, Pawmo was revealed to have evolved into Pawmot.

In Sparkle! The Glow of Fire and Art!, Nemona used Pawmot in her battle against Roy, where it battled against his Fuecoco. After a tough battle, Pawmot emerged victorious, defeating Fuecoco with Double Shock.

In Resonating Spirits in a Challenge to Ryme!, Nemona had Pawmot save Terapagos from falling from the sky. In the following episode, Pawmot was used by Nemona to help Roy and Fuecoco in a Hyper Training session.

In Terastallization vs. Mega Evolution!, Nemona partnered Pawmot and Ribombee for a Double Battle against Roy's Crocalor and Shiny Lucario. After Roy Mega Evolved Lucario, Nemona Terastallized Pawmot into a pure Fighting-type, but it ended up being defeated, thus making Nemona lose by default.

In HZ115, Pawmot was used in another Double Battle, this time partnered with Nemona's Decidueye again battling against Lucario and Crocalor. Thanks to the training Nemona received at the Blueberry Academy and Nemona's strategy with Decidueye's Spirit Shackle, Pawmot managed to defeat Lucario, and then Pawmot, by Terastalizing and using a Focus Punch against Crocalor, was able to defeat it.

Pawmot's known moves are Spark, Quick Attack, Dig, Double Shock, Discharge, Mach Punch, and Focus Punch.

Ribombee
Nemona's Ribombee

Ribombee is Nemona's second known Pokémon.

In Terastallization vs. Mega Evolution!, Nemona partnered Ribombee and Pawmot for a Double Battle against Roy's Crocalor and Shiny Lucario. Throughout the battle, Ribombee acted as a support Pokémon, healing up and restoring Pawmot's stamina, as well as protecting their side of the field with different status moves. At the end, however, Pawmot ended up being defeated, thus making Nemona lose by default.

In HZ133, Ribombee was the second Pokémon Nemona used in her battle against Indi and Rubina's Cofagrigus and Runerigus. It became affected by the opponent's Curse immediately, dealing damage to it while being unable to attack or switch out due to Destiny Bond and Mean Look. After Dot's Gholdengo sacrificed itself to defeat the Runerigus and Cofagrigus, Ribombee was able to be recalled and freed from Curse's effects.

Ribombee's known moves are Pollen Puff, Light Screen, Sticky Web, and Energy Ball.

Rowlet → Dartrix → Decidueye
Nemona's Decidueye
Debut HZ115

Decidueye is Nemona's third known Pokémon. In HZ115, it was revealed that Decidueye evolved from a Rowlet that Nemona captured upon arriving in Blueberry Academy.

Nemona used Decidueye in her Double Battle against Roy where it was able to trap Roy's Shiny Lucario with Spirit Shackle, allowing Pawmot to defeat it.

In HZ133, Decidueye was used to defeat one of Rubina's Runerigus, but fainted due to the effects of Destiny Bond.

Decidueye's known moves are Phantom Force, Leaf Blade, Spirit Shackle, and Razor Leaf.
