Origin

Mr. Briney is a character in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, notable for ferrying the player across the sea to Dewford Town and Slateport City before he or she obtains HM03. The Wingull in the card's artwork is Peeko, his long-time companion.
