This card was included as a Regular card, a Full Art ultra rare card, a special illustration rare card, and a gold etched hyper rare card in the Scarlet & Violet expansion, first released in the Japanese Violet ex expansion. The Regular, Full Art, and hyper rare prints feature artwork by 5ban Graphics, while the special illustration rare print features artwork by kantaro. An oversized version of the Regular print lacking its type, Weakness, Resistance, retreat cost, attack cost, collection number, and references to Energy types in its Ability was available in the Paldea Collection from January 6, 2023.
An oversized version of the actual Regular print featuring the Scarlet & Violet expansion logo on the right side of the artwork was given away with eligible Pokémon Trading Card Game purchases in various countries. It was distributed from April 24, 2023 in France and was given to customers who purchased at least €25 worth of TCG products at participating Smyths stores.[1] In the Czech Republic, it was available from May 5, 2023 and given to customers who purchased at least 399 Kč worth of TCG products at participating JRC or Smarty stores, or from their online shops.[2] It was also available from May 5, 2023 in Slovakia and was given to customers who purchased at least €15.99 worth of TCG products at participating BRLOH or Smarty stores, or from their online shops.[3] In the Netherlands, it was distributed from May 8, 2023 and was given to customers who purchased at least €25 worth of TCG products at participating Intertoys stores or from its online shop.[4] It became available from May 19, 2023 in the United Kingdom and was given to customers who purchased at least £15 worth of TCG products at participating GAME stores.[5]
The Regular print was reprinted with different 5ban Graphics artwork as one of the SVP Black Star Promos and was available in the Paldea Legends Tins from June 9, 2023. This print was released in Japan as part of the Shiny Treasure ex subset.
The Regular print was reprinted, alongside a gold raised foil hyper rare print with artwork by 5ban Graphics, in the Japanese Shiny Treasure ex subset. The Shiny Treasure ex print was included in the Paldean Fates expansion.
