In Japan, this card was included as a Regular card, a Full Art card, and a Special Full Art card in the Pokémon GO subset. The Regular print features artwork by Nurikabe, the Full Art print features artwork by PLANETA Mochizuki, and the Special Full Art print features artwork by N-DESIGN Inc. The Regular and Special Full Art prints were included in the special Pokémon GO expansion outside Asia, while the Full Art print was released as a SWSH Black Star Promo with the collection number SWSH229. This print was available in two of the launch products for the Pokémon GO expansion on July 1, 2022: the Pokémon GO Elite Trainer Box and the Pokémon GO Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box Plus. Another SWSH Black Star Promo print with different artwork by PLANETA Mochizuki was also available from July 1 in two other products: the Pokémon GO Mewtwo V Battle Deck and the Pokémon GO V Battle Deck—Mewtwo vs. Melmetal. This print has the collection number SWSH223. In Japan, this print was available as a S-P Promotional card in the Pokémon GO Special Set from June 17, 2022. The Pokémon GO Regular print was reprinted in the Japanese VSTAR Universe subset.
