This card was included as a Regular card, a Full Art ultra rare card, a special illustration rare card, and a gold etched hyper rare card in the Paldea Evolved expansion, first released in the Japanese Triplet Beat subset. The Regular, ultra rare, and ryper rare prints feature artwork by 5ban Graphics, while the special illustration rare print features artwork by Kouki Saitou. An SVP Black Star Promo version of the card with artwork by 5ban Graphics was included in the Paldea Partners Tins, released on September 1, 2023. This SVP Black Star Promotional print was released in Japan, alongside a new Shiny ultra rare print with artwork by the same illustrator, as part of the Shiny Treasure ex subset. A Jumbo-sized variant of the SVP Black Star Promo was released in the Meowscarada ex Collection, released exclusively in Portuguese. The Shiny ultra rare print was later released as another SVP Black Star Promo available in the Paldean Fates Meowscarada ex Premium Collection from February 9, 2024.
This card was reprinted with different artwork by PLANETA Yamashita in the Tactics Deck Meowscarada ex, which was released in Taiwan and Hong Kong on July 19, 2024, followed by releases in Indonesia and Thailand on August 16, 2024. It has not been released in any other market.
