History

Pre-series
When her son, Amethio, was a child, he and Maria spent a lot of time together, such as by going on a boat trip or playing at a beach. At some point, she died in a car accident, but Amethio was too young to even remember it well.
Pokémon Horizons: The Series
In The Truth Revealed!, Maria was first shown in a portrait in front of the entrance of Amethio's mansion. It caught Zirc and Onia's attention, and Amethio explained that she was his mother and that she died in a car accident when he was young, but reassured them not to worry. Some portraits of her alongside Cervantis and Amethio were seen in the mansion.
In Charcadet's Wish!, she appears again in a flashback, asking Charcadet to protect her son, Amethio, soon after both met for the first time.
Character
Little is known about Maria, but she appeared to be very caring and loving to her son.
