Release information

This card was released as one of the XY Black Star Promos available in the Mega Salamence-EX Premium Collection released November 18, 2016. A Jumbo version was also included in the collection. In Japan, it was released as a XY-P Promotional card and was 1 of 2 cards awarded as a participation prize to players who competed in the CoroCoro Ichiban! Mega Salamence Gym Battle held at participating Pokémon Card Gym venues between August 1 and September 30, 2016. This competition was limited to elementary school students. This print has the Pokémon Card Gym logo in the bottom right corner of the artwork.
