This card was released as one of the XY Black Star Promos, included in the Mega Mawile-EX Premium Collection released on May 2, 2016. A Jumbo version was also included in the collection. In Japan, it was released as a XY-P Promotional card and was available in the Double Mega BREAK Set: M Aerodactyl-EX + M Mawile-EX + Luxray BREAK on November 20, 2015.
