Release information

This card was available as part of the Pokémon Sunday "Lucario's Card" Trade Campaign at participating Pokémon Centers and stores across Japan from January 17, 2009. In some stores, people were required to trade a Fighting-type card for this card while giving the password "Roger!", while other stores simply gave away the card with any TCG purchase. The promotion ran for as long as stocks lasted. The Pokémon Sunday logo is featured in the bottom right corner of the illustration.

Pokémon Sunday is a variety show that aired in Japan, in which a Lucario named Director Lucario was one of the mascots. The attacks on this card are based on techniques performed by Director Lucario on the show—the Roger Poké-BODY also reflects a stance Director Lucario adopted. Brick Break is a move in the Pokémon games that Lucario can learn via TM31. The Fever Step attack is a reference to a popular Konami redemption game.
