These 100 Poké Balls were distributed from November 3, 2023 as a purchase bonus for any players of the Pokémon Scarlet or Violet + The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero bundles. They were distributed by a personalised code sent via email (or included in the box in the retail bundle). The codes do not have a known expiration date.
This sandwich ingredient gift given to participants of the Summer Special Training campaign (Japanese 夏のとっくんプログラム) who took part in the associated "Making sandwiches with everyone" events held at Pokémon Center stores in Japan. A player may only obtain one code per Nintendo account. Participation in the tournament was limited to one entry per game per Nintendo switch console. A password for a Destiny Knot was released after hitting a target of 20,000 likes; this was achieved after 19 minutes. A second password for 2 Love Balls was released after hitting a target of 140,000 likes; this was achieved after 2 hours and 36 minutes. The passwords expired March 14, 2023 at 14:59 UTC.

Players who purchased tickets to Pokémon the Orchestra: In the Land of Myths (Korean: Pokémon the Orchestra: 신화의 땅에서) were given a code that redeemed for an item set consisting of 3 Max Revives, 3 Rare Candies and 3 Big Nuggets. Between January 6 and 10, 2023, the Poké Times twitter account distributed serial codes to redeem a variety of league point gifts. To be eligible for a code, a player needed to follow the Twitter channel and retweet the tweet announcing the distribution that was posted on each day. All serial codes expired on February 28, 2023 at 14:59 UTC. In total 111 codes were handed out on each of the 5 days of the distribution, for a total of 555 codes. Of these:

For one week between December 12 and 18, 2022, the Poké Times Twitter channel released a new password on a daily basis that gave a selection of sandwich items. Each day at 9:00 UTC / 18:00 JST, a new password was released. The event could be redeemed once per password, for a total of 7 times per save file, and all passwords expired on December 18, 2022 at 14:59 UTC / 23:59 JST. As such the final password was only active for 6 hours.
There are 10 different sets of ingredients; the one obtained was random. These ingredient sets were however not distributed with equal chances. 8 of the sets each had a 5/41 chance to be received when redeemed (approx a 12.2% chance); the remainder was split between the last two ingredient sets which each had a 1/82 chance to be received when a password is redeemed (circa 1.2% chance).

Between November 18 and 30th, 2022 Players of Pokémon Scarlet or Violet in Japan could receive 4 serial codes via the 7-11 app. To do so they needed to present the app at a 7-11 location when buying a onigiri (Japanese rice ball) from the convenience store. A code will then be sent to the app within 24 hours of making the required purchase. A purchase of 2 onigiri would net a code for 4 Poké Balls, a purchase of 4 onigiri would net a code for 4 Great Balls, a purchase of 6 onigiri would net a code for 4 Ultra Balls, while a purchase of 10 onigiri would net an additional Premier Ball code. All these codes expired on January 10, 2023.
