List of event Pokémon distributions in Pokémon Legends: Arceus
This is a reverse-chronological list of event Pokémon distributions that were given away via the Mystery Gift functions to Pokémon games in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. A subscription to Nintendo Switch Online is not required to claim Mystery Gifts on Nintendo Switch games.
Serial "codes" are one-time use codes. "Passwords" are codes that can be used by any number of people, but are usually limited to one redemption per save file.
Events redeemed in Legends: Arceus have unique characteristics unique to the game environment of these games, these events cannot be claimed by other games of the same generation. Transferability of Pokémon to other games is limited by the availability of the Pokémon in said game.
ThisClefairy was distributed via serial code to players of all Generation VIII games at the Pokémon Centers in Japan from September 3 to 11, 2022 as part of the おつきみピッピ (Otsukimi Pippi) marketing campaign in commemoration of the Otsukimi festival in Japan. A pamphlet with three serial codes could be obtained during the distribution period, but in order to obtain it, the recipient must imitate the moveMetronome. The codes are single-use; one of the codes on the pamphlet is valid for Sword and Shield, the second is for Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, and the last is for Legends: Arceus. The codes expired on September 30, 2022.
A bug involving Clefairy's nickname occurs if the serial code is redeemed on a Korean language game. Clefairy's origin language will be set to Japanese, but it is set to have no nickname, causing the game to assign it Clefairy's species name in Korean. Since its nickname contains characters not present in the font used for Japanese text, Clefairy's nickname will display as "??" when redeemed in this language.
Due to a printing issue, the code cards only had the randomised 12 digit serial code and omitted the 4 character prefix. For the third Legends: Arceus code the prefix J258 should be used before inputting the remaining 12 character code.
This Pokémon may only be redeemed once per save file.

This Pokémon is Japanese in origin, regardless of the language of the game.
Hisui's Hisuian Growlithe
This Pokémon was distributed to players in South Korea who bought the Video-on-Demand access to Pokémon W: Arceus, the One Called God between July 21 and August 10, 2022. The codes were distributed to players on August 18, 2022, and expire on October 31, 2022 at 23:59 KST.
This Pokémon may only be redeemed once per save file.
Date received is the date on the system when the gift is redeemed.
This Pokémon is Korean in origin, regardless of the language of the game.
Teresa Roca's Hisuian Growlithe
Two codes, one for 20 Feather Balls and another for a Hisuian Growlithe, were distributed to promote the Brilliant Stars set of the Pokémon TCG at various locations in select countries between February 25 and April 4, 2022. These codes expired at 06:59 (UTC) on June 1, 2022. If redeemed in an Asian language game (Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese or Traditional Chinese), this Hisuian Growlithe redeemed with English language tags instead.

These Piplup were distributed via serial code to players of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and Pokémon Legends: Arceus at the Pokémon Centers in Japan from February 5 to 24, 2022 during the "Pocha Marche" promotion for some limited edition Piplup themed merchandise available in select stores as part of the larger プロジェクトポッチャマ (Project Pochama)marketing campaign. A pamphlet with two serial codes could be obtained by telling a store employee the phrase "Pochama Daisuki" during the distribution period. The codes are single-use, one of the codes on the pamphlet is valid for Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, while the other is valid for Legends: Arceus.

Pokémon Center Birthday Happiny
This Happiny was distributed via serial code to players of all Generation VIII games at Pokémon Center stores across Japan and Singapore if they visited during the month of their birthday, but only if they provided proof of their date of birth and their Nintendo Switch. The codes were distributed from November 1, 2021 to October 31, 2022. Players could use these codes in Pokémon Sword, Shield, Brilliant Diamond, Shining Pearl, or Legends: Arceus; the codes were single use, but valid in any of the aforementioned games. This Pokémon has Japanese tags unless redeemed in an English game.
