List of event Pokémon distributions in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!
This is a reverse-chronological list of event Pokémon distributions that were given away via the Code/Password or the Poké Ball Plus Mystery Gift functions to the games Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!. In these games, Pokémon are generated when the code is redeemed, meaning the player cannot reset to get a different Nature or other attributes. A subscription to Nintendo Switch Online is not required to claim Mystery Gifts on Nintendo Switch games.
Serial "codes" are one-time use codes. "Passwords" are codes that can be used by any number of people, but are usually limited to one redemption per save file.
All events listed below (except for the Poké Ball Plus Mew, which is universally freely redeemable) were given out years before the version of the game sold in mainland China for the Tencent Nintendo Switch, but couldn't be redeemed on that Switch console anyways due to region lock. A list of event Pokémon available in the mainland Chinese version of Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! can be found here.

Pokémon Center Birthday Chansey
This Chansey was distributed via serial code to players at Pokémon Center stores and Pokémon Stores in Japan from November 16, 2018 to November 14, 2019, if they visited during the month of their birthday, but only if they provided proof of their date of birth and Nintendo Switch. The codes expired February 29, 2020.
A bug involving Chansey's nickname occurs if the serial code is redeemed on a Korean, Traditional Chinese, or Simplified Chinese language game. Since Chansey's origin language is enforced as Japanese by the Wonder Card server but its nickname isn't enforced as Japanese, the game will generate a Pokémon whose nickname contains characters not present in the font used for Japanese text. This causes Chansey's nickname to be displayed as "??" when redeemed in Korean, and "???" when redeemed in Simplified or Traditional Chinese.

Date received is the date on the system when the gift is redeemed.
This Pokémon is Japanese in origin, regardless of the language of the game.
Poké Ball Plus Mew
The Poké Ball Plus comes programmed with an internal serial code to redeem this Mew in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!. Despite being marketed as the Poké Ball Plus "containing" Mew, the serial code aspect means that to claim, the player must connect to the Internet through Mystery Gifts.
The serial code aspect also means that it is impossible for a single manufactured Poké Ball Plus to redeem more than one Mew, even if the Poké Ball Plus is later resold. Players that purchased multiple Poké Ball Plus units can redeem one Mew for each. The origin of the Poké Ball Plus is not relevant for redeeming this event, as the device sold in mainland China contains the same hardware as those bought elsewhere.
