Effect

The Legendary Clue 3 tells the player more about the legendary birds and their Galarian variants. It is required to be read in order to find each legendary bird and complete "A Legendary Tree of a Legendary Three!" expedition set by Peony. The contents of Legendary Clue 3 change as the player progresses through the story.

The Bird Pokémon of Legend

When the sun reaches its zenith, it shines directly down upon a great tree with leaves that seem to burn. It is there that the legendary wings come to roost.

Upon meeting the legendary birds:

When the sun reaches its zenith, it shines directly down upon a great tree with leaves that seem to burn. It is there that the legendary wings come to roost.
The bird of orange dashed off to the Wild Area.
The bird of black flew off to the Isle of Armor.
The bird of purple set off across the Crown Tundra.

After catching each legendary bird, the line for each Pokémon is respectively replaced with:

Zapdos was caught in the Wild Area.
Moltres was caught on the Isle of Armor.
Articuno was caught in the Crown Tundra.
