The English version of this card's illustration had the color of Jynx's face changed from black to purple due to the blackface controversy in subsequent reprints.
- In the Virtual Console release of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, the background of this card was changed from dark purple to light purple.
The English version of this card was the first to have TCG-exclusive Pokédex entry.
