Information
Journey Together is the ninth main expansion of cards for the Scarlet & Violet Series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. It sees the return of Trainer's Pokémon to the game, marking the first time since EX Team Magma vs Team Aqua that the mechanic has been featured in a main expansion. It focuses on Pokémon owned by four Trainers: N, Iono, Lillie, and Hop.
The expansion marks the return of the Box Topper, a special card included inside select booster boxes. Journey Together features two kinds of booster boxes, an Enhanced Booster Display Box that includes a specially stamped variant of the in-set N's Reshiram illustration rare, and a regular Booster Display Box that doesn't contain the Box Topper. Distribution for the different booster boxes is as follows:
The Enhanced Booster Display Box was made available via the Pokémon Center online store.
American Play! Pokémon retailers receive Enhanced Booster Display Boxes to sell and regular booster boxes as tournament prizing.
European Play! Pokémon retailers have the option to sell either the Enhanced Booster Display Box or the regular booster box.
Non-Play! Pokémon retailers worldwide, including Best Buy[1] and GameStop[2] in the United States, only have regular booster boxes available for purchase.
Journey Together is available in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish from Spain, Portuguese, and—for the first time in Pokémon TCG history—Latin American Spanish.
The pack artworks for the Journey Together expansion were illustrated by Yuu Nishida. The backgrounds and Journey Together logo were designed by Kevin Fish.[3]
