Release information

This card was included in the Sword & Shield expansion with artwork by Ken Sugimori, first released in each of the Japanese V Starter Sets. It was reprinted as a Full Art S-P Promotional card with new artwork by Naoki Saito, and was given to customers who purchased two booster boxes of either Sword or Shield upon its release at participating stores. The set logos are featured at the bottom of the artwork. In Japan, the Sword & Shield print was reprinted in the Zacian + Zamazenta Box and with different artwork by Sanosuke Sakuma in the Charizard & Grimmsnarl VMAX Starter Sets. The Sword & Shield print was reprinted again in Japan as a S-P Promotional card and in each of the V Starter Decks. The S-P Promotional print was one of nine possible cards included in special packs sent to Event Organizers in April 2020 for distribution in official events hosted by them. This print features the Event Organizer logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration. Outside Asia, the Charizard & Grimmsnarl VMAX Starter Sets and Full Art S-P Promotional prints were later included in the Champion's Path expansion.

Another S-P Promotional print with different artwork by Taira Akitsu was released in the Japanese Hop's Daily Routine Trainer Card Collection on November 20, 2020. This print was later released in the special Crown Zenith expansion outside Asia. The Sword & Shield print was reprinted again in the Japanese Venusaur & Blastoise VMAX Starter Sets, Sword & Shield Family Pokémon Card Game set, and Zacian & Zamazenta vs Eternatus Special Deck Set. The Champion's Path Regular print was reprinted in a second version of the Japanese Charizard VMAX Starter Set, available in the VMAX Battle Triple Starter Set from December 4, 2020.
