Hiro (PT17)

Hiro (Japanese: ヒロ Hiro) is the protagonist of PT17.

Hiro is a young boy who lives in Johto. He grew alongside a Cyndaquil and an Aipom, and his dream was to collect the eight Gym Badges in order to take on the Champion. One day, while wandering around in the forest by his house, he met a wild Murkrow, who he quickly befriended after escaping from a Skarmory. They made matching necklaces from fragments of Skarmory's feathers and set up a Secret Base in a small cave near the forest. Then, suddenly, Hiro had to be taken to the hospital for unknown reasons.

After Hiro got discharged and returned home, he had some trouble remembering some things of his past, such as the way Cyndaquil liked to be petted and the greeting he had with Aipom. Initially, he didn't remember Murkrow at all, but his memories were slowly piecing together as he readjusted himself back home. At night, he saw Murkrow flying into the nearby forest and decided to follow it, which led him to their Secret Base. Outside, the Murkrow was being attacked by a horde of Meowth trying to snatch its necklace away. In that moment, Hiro finally remembered his time with Murkrow, helped it clear the Meowth away, and reunited with his friend, promising that they will be going on a journey together.

Murkrow is a Pokémon that Hiro befriended before he was sent to a hospital. After escaping from a Skarmory, they set up a Secret Base and started wearing matching necklaces. After Hiro got discharged, Murkrow tried to go with him, but his memories were still fuzzy. Later, during the night, Murkrow was attacked by a horde of Meowth, who tried taking its necklace, but Hiro, now with his memories back, found it and helped it clear its opponents away.

Murkrow's only known move is Gust.

Cyndaquil

Cyndaquil is one of Hiro's family's Pokémon. It and Aipom were at Hiro's side ever since his birth, as seen in the photographs he keeps on his wall. During the night, they followed Hiro as he ventured into the forest, with Cyndaquil providing a source of light.

Cyndaquil's only known move is Ember.

Aipom

Debut	PT17

Aipom is one of Hiro's family's Pokémon. It and Cyndaquil were at Hiro's side ever since his birth, as seen in the photographs he keeps on his wall. During the night, they followed Hiro as he ventured into the forest, with Aipom holding him to prevent his fall.

Aipom's only known move is Swift.
