Release information
This card was included in the Celestial Storm expansion with artwork by Naoki Saito, first released as one of the Japanese SM-P Promotional cards. In Japan, it was one of nine possible cards available in promotional packs awarded to participants of Pokémon Card Gym tournaments during August and September 2017. This print features the Pokémon Card Gym logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration. A Full Art print with artwork also by Naoki Saito was included in the Hidden Fates expansion, first released in the Japanese GX Ultra Shiny subset.
This card was banned from the Gym Leader Challenge format starting June 8, 2022, due to being a part of combos commonly built into Colorless control decks, whose goal was to deplete cards from the opponent's hand and cause the opponent to then not draw useful cards. It was also recoverable with effects of cards like Bunnelby from Primal Clash, or Delcatty from Celestial Storm.[1]
