Release information
This card was included in the Ancient Origins expansion, first released in the Japanese Bandit Ring expansion. In Japan, this card was reprinted as a Mirror Holofoil XY-P Promotional card, available as part of a twelve card promotional pack awarded to those who participated in the Pokémon Card Gym tournaments from the month of November 2015 through the month of January 2016. This card features the Pokémon Card Gym logo. This card was reprinted in the Japanese The Best of XY subset as its previous Regular print and also as a Full Art card with artwork by You Iribi. The Full Art print was released in English as one of the Yellow A Alternate cards included in the Premium Trainer's XY Collection, released October 20, 2017. The Regular print was reprinted again in the Japanese Ultra Sun Deck Build Box.
As of August 17, 2018, this card was banned from the Expanded format due to it stifling creativity, preventing several strategies from being viable, and having the potential to make a major negative impact on an opponent before their first turn.
