When this Pokémon eats a Berry, recover HP after receiving the effects of the Berry. At the same time, it stealthily stashes another Berry in its tail. Being hit by a single attack or combination of attacks will cause a Berry to drop from the Pokémon's tail.

Greedent can stash a maximum of five Berries in its tail at once. While the description implies that Greedent loses Berries when hit, it does not. The Berry that drops is an additional Berry
