This card was released as a Cosmos Holofoil SVP Black Star Promo and was available in the Scarlet & Violet Three Pack Blisters from March 31, 2023. In Japan, it was one of eight SV-P Promotional cards available in Let's Start Playing Pokémon Card Game Campaign Promo Card Packs, which were given to customers who purchased at least 10 packs of Scarlet ex or Violet ex at select retailers starting January 20, 2023. It was also one of the four possible cards available in ex Starter Set Quaxly & Mimikyu ex Promo Card Packs. The Japanese print is Mirror Holofoil.

This card was reprinted in the Japanese Venusaur & Charizard & Blastoise Special Deck Set ex.
