Release information

This card was released in the English Phantom Forces expansion. In Japan, two different XY-P Promotional prints of this card were made available in two of the four items of TCG merchandise released in conjunction with the premiere of Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction on July 19, 2014. The print numbered 053/XY-P, from which the English Phantom Forces print originates, was available in the Theater Diancie Movie Commemoration Set, which could be purchased at Pokémon Centers or participating cinemas screening Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction. The print numbered 054/XY-P was available in the Seven & I Diancie Movie Commemoration Set, which was exclusive to Pokémon Centers and Seven & I owned store chains such as 7-Eleven and Ito-Yokado. Both prints have artwork by 5ban Graphics. The Japanese prints are Cracked Ice Reverse Holofoil and feature a "Pokémon the movie XY" stamp in the bottom right corner of the artwork and the Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction movie logo in the bottom left.

It was reprinted again in the English Generations expansion, originating from the Japanese PokéKyun Collection, featuring new artwork by Mizue. The Phantom Forces print was reprinted again in Japan as another XY-P Promotional card, this time Non-Holofoil and numbered 271/XY-P. It could be obtained available as part of a Pokémon Center promotion, which ran from July 23, 2016 for as long as stocks lasted. Customers who purchased at least 5 booster packs from participating Pokémon Centers, Pokémon Stores, and Pokémon Store Outlets were given 1 or 5 possible promotional cards. This print also features the Pokémon Center logo.

In Korea, this card is one of the XY-P Black Star Promos, and commemorated the theatrical release of Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction.
