He has scored for television shows for FOX Television, written themes for specials like NBC's "Tiger Wood's Story" and for shows like the massively successful kids' show "Pokémon", scored dozens of commercials for the likes of Diet Coke, Lincoln/Mercury, Downy, Jeep, Dodge, Doc Martens, Blockbuster, and Covergirl. Working under the 4Kids dub, he performed five English theme songs, namely "Born to Be a Winner", "Believe in Me", "I Wanna Be a Hero", "This Dream", and "Unbeatable". He left the show after 4Kids Entertainment lost the license to dub the Pokémon anime. He lives with his wife, Wendy Rolfe, in Utah, United States, and has a son called Alex Rolfe.

Outside of music, Rolfe is an avid reader of books on history, geopolitics, science, and technology. In 2019, Rolfe became a climate change activist after reading "Speed & Scale" by John Doerr.
