This article is about a Japanese Pokémon Trading Card Game card which has not yet been officially released in English and, hence, may not be released outside of Japan. As such, this article may contain translated Japanese terms instead of English terms.
In Japan, this card was released as one of the SM-P Promotional cards and was given to customers who purchased at least five booster packs from any participating Pokémon Center or Pokémon Store in celebration of the opening of Pokémon Center Tokyo DX on March 14, 2018. The promotion ran from the opening day for as long as stocks lasted. The Pokémon Center Tokyo DX logo is also present on the card.
As one of the mascots for showcasing the cultural diversity of Tokyo, this Pikachu represents hanami, the traditional annual custom of celebrating trees in bloom across the country, particularly the sakura, cherry blossom. The most popular hanami in Tokyo takes place at Ueno Park, typically in late March.
