Thousand Arrows

shouldn't Thousand Arrows be here? Throwaway d r (talk) 20:11, 15 March 2017 (UTC)

I think you're thinking of Category:Moves that remove some type immunities. --Celadonkey 22:15, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
I'd argue that since it has a unique interaction with the Flying type before/in addition to removing immunities, it belongs in this category as well.--Cold (talk) 22:35, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
Well, then wouldn't everything in Category:Moves that remove some type immunities belong here too? All of those moves have effects that deviates from the type chart.
I agree that Thousand Arrows belongs here. I just think everything else should too (especially Smack Down). --Celadonkey 22:45, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
I think this category is more for moves with their own unique type effectiveness damage modifiers. Freeze-Dry hits Water-types for super effective damage despite being Ice, Thousand Arrows hits Flying-types for neutral regardless of their secondary type (and I believe deals damage to ungrounded Pokémon before removing immunity? I'm not too sure). Smack Down removes Ground immunities, yes, but it doesn't have any different type effectiveness than would be expected for a Rock move, if that makes sense. Same for Foresight and the others, they cause future moves to change their effectiveness, but don't have any special effectiveness properties themselves.--Cold (talk) 23:10, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
