This category is for Pokémon that are a majority male, but can have some females. Notably, all starter Pokémon (except Pikachu) and all Fossil Pokémon (except those introduced in Generation VIII) are in this group.

Because shininess and gender are both determined by IV’s in Generation II, these Pokémon cannot be both shiny and female prior to Generation III
