This category covers event distributions for the core series Pokémon games according to the language or region they were available for. From Generation I to Generation V, events were distributed based on a game's language. In Generation VI and Generation VII, events were distributed based on the software region of the Nintendo 3DS system being played. In Generation VIII and later games, events are available to all games.
