Origin

Blue is the rival of the player and the Champion in Pokémon Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow, as well as their remakes Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. He later became the Gym Leader of the Viridian Gym, featured in the Regular print's illustration, in Pokémon Gold, Silver, Crystal, as well as their remakes Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver.
