THE LEGEND AWAKENS

From beneath a fire-ravaged tower, three ancient and powerful Pokémon emerge. The journey of worldwide adventure continues with the revelation of these legendary Pokémon.

Information

Neo Revelation is the name given to the third main expansion of the Neo Series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. In Japan, it was released as Awakening Legends, the third expansion in the Pokémon Card Game neo Era and the first to be released by The Pokémon Company. It is based on Pokémon Gold and Silver, featuring Generation II Pokémon and the Legendary beasts. The English expansion was released on September 21, 2001, while the Japanese expansion was released on November 23, 2000.

Neo Revelation introduced Shining Pokémon, a type of Pokémon with different coloration to what is usual for its species. All Shining Pokémon are Basic Pokémon, and there can only be 1 Shining Pokémon per name in a deck. It was the first expansion to not have preconstructed Theme Decks associated with the expansion.
