Trivia

Origin

Ash has owned Pikachu since the first episode of the anime. The I Choose You! attack is a reference to both the title of the first anime episode and the title of the twentieth movie. Thunderbolt is a move in the Pokémon games that Pikachu can learn, and is also a move that Ash's Pikachu has used in the anime. This card features Pikachu wearing Ash's cap as seen in I Choose You!, later available as the final special Pikachu in a cap in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. A Rainbow Wing is also present in the illustration. This card's Pokédex entry is taken from the entry for Cap Pikachu in Pokémon Moon.
