Angus (Japanese: アッキー Akkie) is a minor recurring character who first appeared in The Clubsplosion Begins!. He is the brother of Getty and Betty.

He and his siblings all entered the Clubsplosion tournament together, and he became Ash's first opponent. Since his hairstyle is reminiscent of his Pokémon's, Ash's Scraggy used Leer on him after it initially mistook Angus as the opponent instead of Simisage.

Angus proved to be brutal in combat, having Simisage unleash a barrage of Low Sweeps following Scraggy's injury after a failed High Jump Kick. However, he did not count on Scraggy learning Focus Blast, which stopped his Simisage from finishing him off with Giga Impact. This ultimately led to his loss.

He made a brief appearance in A Clubsplosion of Excitement!, where he and Getty cheered Betty on as she was preparing for her battle with Ash.

Angus is often seen combing his hair even when he is battling. His style and mannerisms are synonymous with classic 1950s pompadour culture. His battle strategy is centered on winning through the use of sheer power alongside Simisage's acrobatic dodges.

Simisage is Angus's only known Pokémon. It battled Ash's Scraggy during the first round of the Clubsplosion. It initially had the upper hand against Scraggy by stepping on his bagging pants and then using Low Sweep on him repeatedly. However, just before it was to defeat its foe with a powerful Giga Impact, Scraggy countered with his newly-learned Focus Blast which was enough to throw it off for the rest of the battle. It was intimidated by Scraggy's Leer and then knocked out by a Headbutt.

Simisage's known moves are Seed Bomb, Low Sweep, Shadow Claw, and Giga Impact.
