Release information

This card was included as a Regular card and a Full Art illustration rare card in the Mega Evolution expansion, first released in the Japanese Mega Symphonia expansion. The Regular print features artwork by Bun Toujo, while the Full Art illustration rare print features artwork by Aya Kusube. The illustration rare print was released as an MEP Black Star Promo numbered 009 in the Mega Evolution Elite Trainer Box on September 26, 2025; a second version with the Pokémon Center logo above the Retreat Cost was included in the Mega Evolution Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box, released on the same day.

An MEP Black Star Promotional print of this card numbered 003 with new artwork by cochi8i was one of the Prerelease promos for Mega Evolution, available in the Mega Evolution Build & Battle Box. A print with a gold foil "Staff" stamp was given to those overseeing Prerelease Tournaments. The Mega Evolution print was also included in the Mega Evolution Build & Battle Box.
