==Plot==

The episode begins with {{Ash}}, {{an|Clemont}}, {{an|Serena}} and {{an|Bonnie}} talking to [[Professor Sycamore]] about [[Puni-chan]], but he tells them he has never seen a Pokémon like it before, and that if it isn't listed in the [[Pokédex]], then it must be a new species, Ash and {{ashfr}} are excited about this. To get a better look at Puni-chan, Professor Sycamore asks Bonnie if she can give it a spin, but she herself spins, Clemont tells her he meant he wanted her to spin Puni-chan, so she spins Puni-chan. Even after seeing Puni-chan from different directions, Professor Sycamore still tells them that he has

never seen a Pokémon like it, but says he will do some research of his own about Puni-chan. A small device is seen on the side of the phone, which is transmitting what is said over the call to a location where {{TRT}} is seen listening to the conversation. After listening in on the conversation, Team Rocket talk about Puni-chan and associate it with being what Team Flare was after, and plan to capture it for themselves. Back with Ash and his friends, Puni-chan climbs into Bonnie's bag and makes itself comfortable, which upsets {{TP|Clemont|Dedenne}} as it tries to force Puni-chan out of the bag, but it doesn't want to leave. Serena sees this and decides to make something for Bonnie to help.
