 Wyndon Stadium first appeared in [[SS012]], where it hosted the [[World Championships|Pokémon World Championships]] {{pkmn|battle}} between [[Lance]] and [[Leon]]. {{Ash}}, {{an|Go}}, and {{TRT}} were in the audience and watched as Leon won the match with his {{p|Charizard}}. After the battle, Team Rocket spotted a {{p|Drednaw}} outside the stadium and tried to {{pkmn2|caught|catch}} it, only for it to suddenly [[Gigantamax]] and start attacking the stadium.
