==Trivia==

* In all handheld games starting from [[Generation IV]], and in [[Pokémon Battle Revolution]], the animation shows the flames being purple, although the description says they are bluish white.

* Even though Will-O-Wisp is a status move, its depiction in the anime is similar to that of a damage-dealing move, never causing any burns at all, in one instance being shown to equal {{m|Flamethrower}} in terms of power.
