Weekly Pokémon Broadcasting Station

The episodes were hosted by Kasumi and Brock, who just introduced the episode and closed the episode. The series didn't have any sort of plot or storyline (like Pocket Monsters does), but instead had a number of different episode types instead:
- Variety shows - These would often include episode clips and live action segments featuring a man in a Kimori suit, KABA-chan, and a random group of elementary school children. KABA-chan, who is probably best known to non-japanese for his cameo in Destiny Deoxys as the guy getting on the subway at the last second. KABA-chan played a major role in most of the variety show episodes.
- Encore - Sometimes, an old episode would be rerun, and other times full-length movies and TV Specials would be aired. Many times these episodes would be requested by fans.
- Original Animated Side Stories - These all-new, 30-minute episodes feature many of the side characters who have stayed behind in Kanto or Jouto while Satoshi travels around Houen. They are the episodes that make up the Pokémon Chronicles series outside of japan.
The show lasted for 91 episodes before being replaced with Pokémon Sunday. All of the Weekly Pokémon Broadcasting Station episodes, except the variety shows, have aired in english.
