Vanillite (Japanese: バニプッチ Vanipeti) is an Ice-type Pokémon.

It evolves into Vanillish at level 35, which evolves into Vanilluxe at level 47.

Biology

Physiology

A "bald" Vanillite with a melted snow covering

Vanillite heads are covered with something resembling a swirled scoop of vanilla ice cream. Beneath this lies its actual head, which is made of the same icy material as its body. This is also where the face is located. Their eyes have swirled, light blue markings, and dark bluish pupils. They have a dark-bluish mouth, a small body adorned with specks of ice, and stubby limbs. The snow on a Vanillite's head can melt with heat or repeated touching, leaving it with a "bald" appearance of simply an ice creature. They become embarrassed if seen in this state.

Gender differences

None.

Special abilities

Vanillite can blow up cold winds as low as -50 degrees Celsius. Due to this, when they exhale they can create ice crystals and cause it to snow in nearby areas. It sleeps in snow and gains energy from the morning sun.

Behavior

If a Vanillite is seen without its snow covering, it will become embarrassed.

Habitat

Vanillite apparently live near snow, sleeping in it.
