Welcome to Bulbapedia, ZiggyAngelo8!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Signature policy

Hey! Next time you leave a message on a talk page of any kind, please be sure to sign it by leaving four tildes (~). It's standard policy to do so on here. Thank you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 20:36, 27 February 2019 (UTC)

Signing

Please remember to always sign your comments. You can sign your comments with 4 tildes (~) or clicking the signature stamp ( ) on the top of the edit box. It should also be noted that once your comment has been marked as unsigned, you cannot replace it with your signature as it will give off the wrong time stamp. Thank you for taking your time to read this message, have a good day. --ForceFire 04:03, 1 March 2019 (UTC)

Signing, again

Please do not make us repeat ourselves. Do not forget to sign your comments on talk pages. You can do this in the ways Force Fire and I just described. Thank you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 21:55, 1 March 2019 (UTC)

Blocked

As you have ignored your message on your talk page and continue to not sign your comments, you have been blocked for a week. Signing a comment is not that difficult, given the direction we gave you above, it can be done with a simple click. On top of that, you are yet to make a mainspace edits, and judging by your edits, you are only here to cast speculation and opinions. Users should also contribute to the site by editing the mainspace, if you want to speculate about the new generation, you can go to the forums for that. Thank you.--ForceFire 05:05, 5 March 2019 (UTC)

Hi, sorry it's come to this, I didn't know Bulbapedia had private message capabilities. Also, I'm not sure how I should be expected to edit the mainspace pages, as most seem to be locked for administrators only, and most pages are completely accurate anyway.--ZiggyAngelo8 (talk) 22:05, 17 March 2019 (UTC)
You can edit something that isn't related to Gen VIII.--ForceFire 04:07, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
You're clearly not looking far and deep enough on Bulbapedia. About 97% of the articles on here are capable of being edited by anyone and everyone. Go to a Pokémon article; all of them, with the exceptions of the Galar starter Pokémon, can be edited. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 02:44, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
But my point still stands that most of those pages are as accurate as possible already--ZiggyAngelo8 (talk) 09:35, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
I think not making any mainspace edits is fine as long as you don't do too many non-mainspace edits, especially ones that don't belong on Bulbapedia like speculation or random chitchat among others. Kikugi (talk) 10:16, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
You can edits literally any other article that is not Gen VIII related, it doesn't have to be species articles. You can also check the Editor's Hub to see what needs editing. Also, editing the mainspace is important to the growth of the wiki, so saying "not making mainspace edits is fine" is plain wrong.--ForceFire 10:22, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
Trust me, Ziggy, there's definitely stuff you can fix anywhere on Bulbapedia. It boils all the way down to simple spelling or grammar. All it takes is a keen eye. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 16:29, 20 March 2019 (UTC)

Re-signing comments

You may not re-sign your comments once they have been marked as unsigned, as it will give off the wrong timestamp. Leave your unsigned comments, but make sure to sign your comments in the future. Thank you.--ForceFire 04:08, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
