:As you've observed, Featured Article project has sort of fallen to the back burner. I can't speak for all of the staff, but I'd personally like to see Featured Articles come back one day, and I know I'm not alone on this matter. Unfortunately, it's currently a low-level priority as we have been dedicating a lot of time to more urgent matters such as getting through the backlog of move/split/merge/mainspacing candidates. Once the backlog's been conquered (to a reasonable extent) then we can return to other projects like featured articles. Thanks for your understanding!
