In case you didn't know how to do that, you have to type the code into the nickname field and, as TTE mentioned, turn on raw signatures. You can get something like TinaTheKirlia^Talk

Safeguard is available as a TM move. Wynaut learns Safeguard at level 15, yet can't learn Safeguard through TM20. By your logic, Wynaut should be able to learn Safeguard through the TM20. Yet it doesn't.

Additionally, Burmy has Protect, available as TM17, as a basic move. Let's say it learns Tackle at level 10, then you have it forget Protect at the Move Deleter. By your logic, Burmy should be able to learn Protect through the TM17 at this point. Yet it doesn't.

You get the picture? It's the same with Burmy and Hidden Power through the TM10.

And this principle isn't even exclusive to Pokémon that can't learn the universal TMs such as TM10 Hidden Power and TM17 Protect. Take Dratini, for instance. In Generation II, it learns Hyper Beam, a move available through TM15, at level 57. Yet Dratini couldn't learn Hyper Beam through TM15 until Generation III. --Shiningpikablu252 01:17, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
