Welcome to Bulbapedia, Teimoe!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Signing comments

Please sign comments by using four tildes (~~~~), which automatically includes your signature and the correct time-stamp based on server time (UTC), rather than using three tildes and a manual time-stamp. Using three tildes & manually adding a time-stamp based on your personal time zone, isn't necessary or recommended as it can cause time-stamping inconsistencies and problems. For more information, please see the signature policy. Thank you, - Kogoro - Talk to me - 20:48, 20 May 2015 (UTC)

Thank you very much Kogoro I read the signature policy and fully understand why the timestamp should be uniform. I am now going to work on customizing my signature... Right here. TeiMoe ->Tlak to me 02:01, 21 May 2015 (UTC)

I don't mean to intrude to the discussion, but are you really using four tildes (~~~~)? If you want to customize your signature, go to your Preferences, go to the signature section and type your signature coding in the box. Don't forget to tick the "treat as wikicode" tick box. Thank you! --~~ThePokémonFanSince1995 --~~ 02:16, 21 May 2015

It probably is better if you intrude. I did, but I deleted it because currently my signature consists of "[[" which doesn't mean anything. I'm working on editing it now... And learning the html code also. Btw, it would be really nice to have this preview function for editing your signature, because the closest thing to that is doing it here. You can test your signature in your talk page or in the Sandbox of Bulbapedia after customizing your signature in your Preferences. --~~ThePokémonFanSince1995~~-- 02:27, 21 May 2015 (UTC)
That is what I am already doing! I am saying it would be easier to preview it and edit it at the same time. Anyway, how do I make my signature look like this: TeiMoe–>Tell me how I'm doing I have copied and pasted this into that box in preferences and made sure to check the wikicode box. All of this help is greatly appreciated ___02:38, 21 May 2015 (UTC)

I have since figured out my signature, this is it TeiMoe–>Tell me how I'm doing 04:33, 20 December 2015 (UTC)

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. Thanks! --Tiddlywinks (talk) 18:07, 18 January 2016 (UTC)

yes I know, I use it every time before I save :) I must hav missed something and re-edited it. Unless it's the List of glitch moves page as a whole, I've been editing the Appearance for some moves and can't edit them all at once. (I think?) Sorry about that TeiMoe–>Tell me how I'm doing 04:06, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
You can edit multiple sections at once. Either click the edit link on a higher section that includes all the ones you want to edit, or just click "edit this page" at the top of the page. ;) Tiddlywinks (talk) 04:10, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
That makes sense! And on a different note, I agree with the page splits you hav on your userpage for the gen I + II characters, if my vote counts TeiMoe–>Tell me how I'm doing 04:21, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
If you want to leave a comment about those splits on those talk pages, that's the best way to make sure your voice is heard by the people that make those decisions. And it surely does count for something. ^_^ Tiddlywinks (talk) 04:32, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
