Welcome to Bulbapedia, ShallowShaddoll!
Bulbapedia bulb.png

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. Thanks! --Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 15:48, 28 July 2016 (UTC)

Edit warring

Please do not continuously revert an edit, it falls under edit warring and is a blockable offence. If you disagree with an edit, 'discuss it with the user that reverted you or on the talk page of the article in dispute. In your case, we cannot call a move if it wasn't commanded and we can't speculate based off what it looks like (unless a move has a unique animation). Thank you.--ForceFire 14:32, 31 July 2016 (UTC)

Please don't slander me and twist my actions; I reverted it because a) I felt it was the right thing to do, and b) Two people gave very good reasons for their edits, which were completely ignored by a power-hungry user.--ShallowShaddoll (talk) 17:22, 31 July 2016 (UTC)

Code of conduct

Please read the code of conduct well and be sure to follow it. Cursing and attacking another user like this is simply not acceptable. You're allowed to disagree, but you need to remember to keep it civil.

Thank you. Tiddlywinks (talk) 16:37, 2 March 2017 (UTC)

I just find it ridiculous that that user is not penalised by moderators for clearly disrupting the flow of information, simply due to his personal bias. And that's an issue that is continuing with that user for a long while now...--ShallowShaddoll (talk) 16:45, 2 March 2017 (UTC)
That's not an excuse, though. The code of conduct is meant to be followed, perhaps especially when users feel themselves in conflict. And if you ever think there's any problem that really needs to be addressed, you're always welcome to contact anyone on staff. Tiddlywinks (talk) 17:34, 2 March 2017 (UTC)

Code of Conduct

Please adhere to the Code of Conduct, regardless of your personal feelings towards another user. We are aware that you have had problems with Playerking in the past, but please do not attack him and wish that he be blocked, that only makes things worse for yourself. If you have nothing nice to say, don't say it. This will be your final warning regarding unpleasant comments towards Playerking.--ForceFire 14:27, 20 July 2017 (UTC)

I really don't care anymore. I cannot comprehend why Playerking is continuously allowed to treat other people like he does, and use this place as his plaything. It's ludicrous and completely ridiculous... He's a complete imbecile, and the fact that mods are doing nothing to prevent his completely atrocious and toxic behaviour towards other users astounds me.--ShallowShaddoll (talk) 23:46, 20 July 2017 (UTC)

Blocked

Like I said, if you can't be civil towards other users and put your personal vendetta aside, the appropriate punishment will be dealt. Playerking was right to remove or hide those moves and follow site protocol, he also hasn't said anything that would be against the code of conduct. On the contrary, you have reverted him and tried to get a reaction from him by saying unpleasant things towards and about him, that is clearly baiting and harassment. If you have a problem with another user, either ignore them completely or go to a staff member to deal with them. Thank you.--ForceFire 05:03, 21 July 2017 (UTC)

Moves

Moves in the anime must be explicitly stated, do not assume moves. Unless the move has a unique animation, which Hydro Pump and Aqua Tail do not have. We do not go by what the move looks like, especially if the move has a very generic animation. A streaming jet of water can fit either Water Gun or Hydro Pump. And by not stating what the moves are, we are not saying it didn't use any moves, we're saying we don't know what the moves are and we're not going to guess what they are. Thank you.--ForceFire 03:43, 30 December 2019 (UTC)

Userpage edits

Hi. I noticed you have been editing the User: namespace a lot recently. Please don't do it any more, though. Bulbapedia's Userspace policy restricts the amount you can edit your userpage: no more than three edits per day. This policy was instated to prevent strain on our server, and also to promote people helping out in the mainspace. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, after all, so help us out by contributing to some articles before coming back to your personal userpage. The more often you edit in the mainspace, the more you will be allowed to edit your userpage. Thank you~ Frozen Fennec 19:23, 4 August 2020 (UTC)

Goh's Flygon

I've started a page for Goh's Flygon and was wondering if you could give me a hand getting it ready for possible mainspace.--BigDocFan (talk) 10:06, 6 September 2020 (UTC)
