Welcome to Bulbapedia, SeeYaLater!
Bulbapedia bulb.png

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Just a reminder: The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Changes button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, this page is for discussions with users; tests can be placed in your user page, which you'll be able to edit with enough contributions to the mainspace. Editing Pages

I am not Kogoro but I figured I would help you out with some pointers on how to edit more efficiently so that you do not have to re-select editing the page various times.

When making edits to pages and you are unsure how the final result will look, you can always select "'Show Preview'" which is beside "'Save Changes'."
When adding links to pages, make sure the first word is always capitalized unless the article itself does not use them (such as glitch Trainers / Pokémon articles).
When linking to Pokémon or move pages, always start with {{p|Insert Pokémon name here}} or {{m|Insert move name here}} where the "Insert text here" areas are either the Pokémon or move names respectively.

I hope this helps a bit, feel free to ask more questions if you still need help. Frozen Fennec 16:29, 3 December 2018 (UTC)

Vandalism

Please do not vandalize articles, like you did on Chatot, it is non-constructive and can lead to a block. Thank you.--ForceFire 03:43, 13 January 2019 (UTC)

Signing comments

When posting on a discussion page, you are required to sign it. Its not hard you can do -- and then add BigDocFan (talk) 16:06, 13 January 2019 (UTC) or click on a box above, second from right--BigDocFan (talk) 16:06, 13 January 2019 (UTC)

You also cannot re-sign an unsigned comment, as it will give the wrong timestamp. Thank you.--ForceFire 16:22, 13 January 2019 (UTC)
