Welcome to Bulbapedia! Thank you for adding the information about Ash's Pokémon in their Sinnoh Gym Battles. However, I just wanted to ask you to please use the {{P}} template when linking to Pokémon articles. For example, instead of [[Roserade]], use {{p|Roserade}}. That way, you'll be linking to the correct article. Thanks for contributing! --PAK Man 17:30, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

Also, stop editing the Gym Leader pages. First of all, you're sticking two abilities on Pokemon that only have one - Roark's Pokemon can't have two abilities at once, for instance. The species can, but not the ones he owns. Second of all, the place that you're adding abilities is reserved for ITEMS THE POKEMON HOLDS. --Zeta 18:17, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

Please use standard romanisation schemes, in particular, the Revised Romanization of Korean. - 振霖T 11:17, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

Morty's Korean Name!

Morty's Korean Name is Yubin! And stop changing it to "Masol" in articles. "Masol" appeared on one panel in PokeSpecial Korean Translation, but it was a mistake. His name is Yubin in this canon as well (not to mention that Game translations are actually SUPERRIOR to Manga Translations). So, stop it! --Maxim 13:19, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

Sorry.

Ok. I'm back. I can answer you. Okay, I just noticed that Volume 10 also calls him Masol. Okay, I can add "Masol" as an alternate Korean Translation (just like I did with Gang'yeon/Daemeori). But I'll use "Yubin" in the list and use it as a primary translation because game translations are always more stable than anime/manga ones. I have also a question to you. Have you got Hoenn volumes in Korean? This will help in some names. Thanks in advance (and sorry). --Maxim 18:15, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

Names

Okay. Then, here are the Korean names I need:

As for other characters, I think I have their names (because I own volumes 1-17 in Korean). --Maxim 14:29, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

No problem!

No problem! And thanks for putting up Roark's Korean Name. And could you tell me what is the Korean name of Sandgem Town? Official site doesn't mention it. --Maxim 18:01, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

Scott's Korean Name

I know what is Scott's Korean Name derived from. It's simply his Japanese name translated into Hangul. Anyway, thanks a lot. --Maxim 16:50, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
And one more thing, if you got Volume 26 in Korean, then you must know all Frontier Brain's Korean Names. Please post them all! It will be appreciated. --Maxim 16:52, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Greta

You forgot to put in Greta's Korean Name. --Maxim 14:25, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

Okay, I'll be grateful if you put it. I don't believe they haven't mentioned it any single time. --Maxim 13:13, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Hanja

OK. That was no problem. Still haven't found Greta's Korean Name? --Maxim 16:25, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Pokemon Special 27

I heard Pokemon Special Volume 27 was released in Korea (I even saw the cover!). Do you already have it? I think this volume reveals Greta's Korean Name. --Maxim 12:33, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for Greta's Korean Name. However, I also have no clue what is Nari supposed to mean. It sounds pretty... random. --Maxim 12:00, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

Long Time no See

Annyeong Haseyo, Hyemin-nim? I haven't seen you pretty long time. But I hope you still visit Bulbapedia sometimes.

If you have time and possibility, could you add more Hoenn and Sevii location Korean names to our list (by the way, what's the Korean name for Sevii Islands? (Of course, I'm interested only in OFFICIAL names from manga, no fan-translations!)

And, by the way, could you tell me what are Sird, Orm and Carr's Korean Names?

Thanks in advance. --Maxim 18:56, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

Thanks a lot. I'll message you whenever I need a Korean name.

Oh, I think I have one. In Volume 23, Bill mentions Lostelle (the girl who spotted Deoxys). What's her Korean name?

Last but not least - Kimberly, the Guardian Lady, her name would be nice to know, too. --Maxim 13:27, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

Pokémon

Pokémon, not Pokemon or pokemon. Understand? ht14 02:29, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

Thanks

Long time, no see. Well, I have a request of Korean names but it's very big, so take your time. I need the names of several Hoenn places (not towns) and Sevii places. For convenience, I'll list them in the order of appearance in the manga:

Hoenn:

  • Desert Ruins (featured in Chapter 217 [Volume 18] on the very beginning of the chapter).
  • Jagged Pass (conveniently listed in the "Adventure Map" before Chapter 219 [Volume 18], under Sapphire).
  • Rusturf Tunnel (listed in the "Adventure Map" before Chapter 221 [Volume 18], under Ruby).
  • Mt. Pyre (featured in Chapter 228 [Volume 19] in the middle of the chapter, that's where Tate & Liza are training).
  • Seafloor Cavern (first mentioned in Chapter 234 [Volume 19], Stern mentions it in the very first dialogue of this chapter).
  • Sky Pillar (featured in Chapter 241 [Volume 20], that's where Wally goes with Norman).
  • Cave of Origin (first mentioned in Chapter 250 [Volume 21] by the pair of Mt. Pyre. It's mentioned on the panel where we can see a picture of it).
  • Artisan Cave (featured in Chapter 314 [Volume 27], it's the cave with Smeargles).
  • Faraway Island (mentioned in Chapter 336 [Volume 29] in the middle of the chapter, the name is first seen on Emerald's bullet, then Gold explains about it).
  • Southern Island (mentioned in Chapter 336 [Volume 29] on the very last page of the chapter, by Latios & Latias)

And now, Sevii:

  • Kindle Road (mentioned in Chapter 272 [Volume 23] by the SeaGallop Sailor on the chapter's seventh page, along with Mt. Ember).
  • Mt. Ember (mentioned in Chapter 272 [Volume 23] by the SeaGallop Sailor on the chapter's seventh page, along with Kindle Road).
  • Cape Brink (featured in Chapter 272 [Volume 23], that's where Kimberly resides).
  • Bond Bridge (mentioned in Chapter 275 [Volume 23] by the biker guy, on the first page, in the lowest panel, next to the Berry Forest mention).
  • Berry Forest (mentioned in Chapter 275 [Volume 23] by the biker guy, on the first page, in the lowest panel, next to the Berry Forest mention).
  • Icefall Cave (mentioned in Chapter 277 [Volume 23] by Lorelei in the third page, middle panel).
  • Resort Gorgeous (mentioned in Chapter 278 [Volume 23] by Carr, who has destroyed the place, along with Memorial Pillar we see a flashback scene).
  • Memorial Pillar (mentioned in Chapter 278 [Volume 23] by Carr, who has destroyed the place, along with Resort Gorgeous, we see a flashback scene).
  • Altering Cave (mentioned in Chapter 278 [Volume 23] by Orm, who wonders where to go, having beaten Six Island, it's in one page, on the lowest panel, it's mentioned along with Pattern Bush and Ruin Valley).
  • Pattern Bush (mentioned in Chapter 278 [Volume 23] by Orm, who wonders where to go, having beaten Six Island, it's in one page, on the lowest panel, it's mentioned along with Altering Cave and Ruin Valley).
  • Ruin Valley (mentioned in Chapter 278 [Volume 23] by Orm, who wonders where to go, having beaten Six Island, it's in one page, on the lowest panel, it's mentioned along with Altering Cave and Pattern Bush).
  • Tanoby Key (mentioned in Chapter 280 [Volume 24] by Sird, she's just solved its mystery).
  • Tanoby Ruins and its chambers (the place is seen in Chapter 280 [Volume 24] and the names of specific chambers are mentioned on its fifth page by Sird. Just list their names in the order from left to right [you have flipped manga in Korea, right?] and DO NOT change the order (if you do, I won't be able to tell which is which).
  • Rocket Warehouse (seen in Chapter 281 [Volume 24], Sird and Carr are seen entering it).
  • Birth Island (seen and mentioned in Chapter 281 [Volume 24] in the third-to-last page [two pages later from the Rocket Warehouse mention], on the middle panel)
  • Trainer Tower (seen and mentioned many times, for example by Lorelei in Chapter 286 [Volume 24], the big panel where she's holding her tracking device [this chapter's 7th page]).

Huh, that's rather a big request. The biggest problem about Sevii places is that they're mostly not seen in the manga at all, just mentioned briefly by the characters. But I tried to give you precise location where the mention is, to save you some time finding it.

As you can see, it requires you to have Volumes 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, 24, 27 and 29. Do you have them all?

Take your time. I realize that it's a very big request and I do not expect you to finish it soon. You can either send the names back to my Talkpage or just submit them to the location list. That's actually the reason why I want so many names from you. Hope you don't mind. Take your time. --Maxim 11:44, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

고맙습니다!

Thanks a lot! I didn't expect you to do this so quickly! That's awesome! As for Cape Brink, just skim through Chapter 272 (Volume 23). The place's name is mentioned on the panel where Kimberly's long house is shown. That's the chapter's 14th page, I think. Also, since "Tanoby Key" is 옥포그리 열쇠, I guess the name "옥포그리 유적" for Tanoby Ruins is assumable. Do you have any idea what does 옥포그리 mean? I guess it's something plant-related. --Maxim 09:52, 28 January 2010 (UTC)

Oh.

Okay. Yes, it is a bit sad but still good to know. Thanks for the information. Out of curiosity, how many volumes of PokeSpe have been released in Korean so far? And what about other mangas, like DPA, are they being released there? --Maxim 18:20, 29 September 2010 (UTC)

No. I didn't based on any hints. I was just guessing because DPA is a relatively recent non-Special manga and, for some reason, I found it fitting that it could have been released in Korea. Also, it's got released in Chinese. --Maxim 14:14, 30 September 2010 (UTC)

Korean PokeSpe

So, what's the most recent PokeSpe volume in Korea? --Maxim 09:37, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

WHOA! You're only one volume behind Japan! Cool! Out of curiosity, what are Paka & Uji's Korean names (I suppose they were kept but I'm not sure)? --Maxim 11:18, 25 June 2011 (UTC)
Oh, thanks. By the way, would you be able to catch the Winstrates Korean names from their anime episode? I only know that their family name is Hwangbo but I'd like to know their individual names too. I'd be highly grateful. --Maxim 12:22, 25 June 2011 (UTC)
