By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Gendered pronouns

As mentioned on the Landorus talk page, standard policy is to use singular, gender neutral pronouns when referring to Pokemon, unless referring to a specific Pokemon with a revealed gender (for example, Chansey is referred to as 'it', while Brock's Chansey is referred to as 'she/her'). Please do not continue to change 'it' on Pokemon pages to gendered pronouns. Thank you. --It's Funktastic~!話してください 01:40, 30 September 2013 (UTC)

Usertags

New usertags must be made in the userspace until they've met the criteria to be mainspaced. Your brony usertag has been moved to RespectThePixel/User Brony Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 16:27, 27 October 2013 (UTC)

Userspace editing

Hello. I've noticed that you have edited your userspace quite a bit in the last few days. However, the last time you edited the mainspace was the sixth. Please be advised that the Userspace policy states that the limits for userspace editing are:

  • at most three userspace edits per person per day, AND
  • at least one more mainspace edit than userspace per person per day.

Since the subpage you've been editing is not intended for the mainspace, it is not exempt from these limits, and you need to edit the mainspace before editing your userspace anymore. Thank you. --It's Funktastic~!話してください 03:21, 19 November 2013 (UTC)

Figured something out

Days ago, I tried figuring out how to deal with the redlinks on your league page. Messaged DenZen about it earlier today, and there seem to be two ways to deal with the rest of the redlinks that made their way to the Wanted pages, and I'm wondering what you prefer.

  • Creating entirely new templates that are similar, but don't spawn links where it is not needed. They will require some effort to create, but they can be implemented into the pages when they're done.
  • Using {{Subst}}, then edit again to remove links. This may be somewhat easier, but this would expand the page's size.

Which do you prefer? I can help with either if you want me to. Berrenta (talk) 21:40, 28 November 2013 (UTC)

Whichever one's the easiest, I'm fine with either. RespectThePixel (talk) 01:29, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
Okay, I'll see what I can do, then. Take care! Berrenta (talk) 02:49, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
Due to the page's size being 40k, using subst is going to cause the page to explode in size, and I don't think anyone would like that. I will resort to creating templates. Berrenta (talk) 03:15, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
Okay thanks! :D RespectThePixel (talk) 04:54, 30 November 2013 (UTC)

Fakémon question

So each region has a starter trio with its final evolution either single typed or dual typed (has to be different, cannot be same), three early route sets with at least one on each set (mammal, bird, bug) and legendaries, so why did you put your Fakémon starter's final evolution type to be Dragon (doing so could be weak to Fairy) and why no fake early route bug? Cinday123 (talk) 05:35, 2 December 2013 (UTC)

I just thought it would be cool to make final starter evolutions to be Dragon-type, therefore making them all super effective to each other.
As for the no early route Bug-type, I don't like the concept of that, to be honest. I like what they did in Black and White, making Bug-types stronger and trying to make them more used. I love Bug-types, and I think they need to be just as strong as the other types. You can encounter past generation weak Bug-types early on, though. RespectThePixel (talk) 22:21, 6 December 2013 (UTC)
Yes, you can check my Generation VII stuff and I made my own starters (each grass starter follows historic animals, each fire starter follows the Chinese Zodiac and each water starter follows the sea creatures), early-route Pokémon (which still follows the tradition in mammal, bird and bug), electric rodents, etc. What your's with the starter's origins, height and weight, why Dunsparce's evolution loses its Normal type and are you going to add fake legendaries? Cinday123 (talk) 02:21, 15 December 2013 (UTC)
My starters' origins are basically just animals that slowly become... dragons :/. Height and weight is undecided as of now. Dunsparce's evolution is, well, not very "Normal" to me. At all. It's a dragon, for sure, but it also has quite a few elements of a fairy. You'll have to see it to believe it I suppose, and I don't make good fanart at all. RespectThePixel (talk) 01:46, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
So are you sure are you're going to add some Fakémon (Ice-type Pokémon, Electric rodent, Fossil Pokémon, Pseudo-legendary Pokémon and Legendary Pokémon) to your Fakémon list, and no Fakémon links of course! Cinday123 (talk) 05:40, 22 December 2013 (UTC)
I will when I get the time. RespectThePixel (talk) 14:25, 22 December 2013 (UTC)

No gen 7 stuff

Dude, the Fakemon are annoying. Please, don't spam fakemon links. Your gen 7 stuff is only upsetting the people that are wanting to contribute and get autoconfirmed. At least 20 links on the needed page list are for YOUR fakemon league. Please, get rid of it. It's annoying a lot of people whom are trying to get autoconfirmed. Just because you got autoconfirmed doesn't mean that you can screw around and make it more frustrating for others to contribute to be autoconfirmed! Unless I get a reply or these links are taken down, I WILL report you for userspace violation.Irtehmrepic (talk) 18:25, 15 December 2013 (UTC)

I'm going to go ahead and assume you have authority. I'll get rid of the links. RespectThePixel (talk) 00:57, 16 December 2013 (UTC)
Nvm. Saw the post on your talk page. RespectThePixel (talk) 00:59, 16 December 2013 (UTC)
Please do get rid of the red links if you can. Having red links to fakemon clogs up the wanted pages. --It's Funktastic~!話してください 01:05, 16 December 2013 (UTC)
K. RespectThePixel (talk) 01:08, 16 December 2013 (UTC)
I hope you don't mind that I modified your Wolvine page to remove the redlinks that were still on that page. If you'd like to make any changes to it in the future but are having trouble because of the changes I made, feel free to contact me and I'll be glad to help you out if I'm around. Tiddlywinks (talk) 03:55, 16 December 2013 (UTC)
Also, turn your red boxes from the blue tables into white as most of our Pokémon pages is white, which means white boxes can see the black words, so red is too bright, and I just saw it on your list of Fakémon. Cinday123 (talk) 07:03, 16 December 2013 (UTC)
