By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Speculation table

I undid this edit because you have no way of knowing exactly which pokémon are elegible for Sky Battles (speculation...). That notice at the top of every page, for example, could have helped you. Besides, pokémon lists shouldn't be formatted like that. Just take a look at some bulbapedia articles and to the Policies before you do any other major edit like that one. You can begin by exploring the welcome template at the beginning of this page. Feel free to ask any questions here. Thanks. オリナル TheOriginalOne 20:03, 31 August 2013 (UTC)

Well, I should point out that this is my first sizable edit to a wiki of any kind. Thus I had to teach myself how to do all the formatting and I thought I did a pretty good job for a first-timer. I knew the table wouldn't be "perfect" but it was my hope that later editors could improve it and show me how to do so. I've been on this website for many years so I'm very familiar with how things look and so forth. I was also aware of the speculation tag at the top of the page, but frankly, I think it is sufficiently clear to say which Pokémon are eligible. It includes all flying-types and levitators, which is exactly what I did. We may later learn that some on that table are not allowed for reasons not yet known, but that will be the rare exception. Within the confines of what we know right now, I fail to see what was so speculative about that table. People who intend to fight many sky battles will also be interested in the types of those eligible, so I fail to see why a straight list would have fit the bill. It's the policy, you know: you must always be 100% sure before you add something. Also, this table is an example of how pokémon lists should be. View the source for the page and study it. The first thing I noticed about yours is the fact that it didn't have round corners. But there's more... Well, have a nice time improving your edits: practice is the key to it. オリナル TheOriginalOne 20:01, 1 September 2013 (UTC)
