LOL Wut!?

I'm not trying to be mean and I'm sorry if I hurt someone feelings and I'm not yelling at him, but "Black" is the correct term NOT "African American", do you want to know why? Because not all African's are Americans. What would you call the Black people that live in France or Canada. My friends consider themselves Black over African American. Even high rank news stations such as CNN use the term, naming one of their special's "Black in America". The "N" word is the offensive word that was used in the 1930's. It's alright, I know it can't be proved directly that she is Black. I was just adding Trivia that points towards these things letting people learn these facts. Another thing is do you know that the Iris Flower is Native to Africa, Europe, and North America, While the Aloe plant is native to Africa. These things are trivia that Gamefreak had in mind that may point towards the characters race. I want Pokemon to have more Black characters too, There's been Americans, Asians, Latino's, Hawaiians. Not one Black person until the release of Pokemon Black and White. Also I don't wish to fight but make friends only. I'm very disappointed that people started such an uproar over me adding that. It is redundant

You see, the Battle Frontier (Generation IV) article doesn't have a "Related pages" (unlike the Battle Frontier (Generation III) article) as there is a nifty box at the bottom of the page that already has links to the other Battle Frontier.Tempest370 00:42, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

Realgar

About the name origin of Realgam Tower, if you notice, the names of places in Orre are named after rocks: Agate Village (Agate), Gateon Port (The Japanese name references iolite), Phenac City (phenakite), Pyrite Town (pyrite). Orre may also be derived from the word "ore". I think realgar would be a possible origin due to the rock theme. 神智の超龍「對話」 04:27, 22 December 2010 (UTC)

Shiny sprite

Just so you know, having a Shiny sprite does not mean that it can be Shiny (prime example: Spiky-eared Pichu). However, the trivia that you removed from Zekrom and Reshiram was inaccurate; they cannot be Shiny at N's Castle, but can be Shiny at Dragon Spiral Tower. About Mirage Island

It needs to show the island in the info box. if you want to talk more please go to talk page

It also should show how the place looks like without the Island.

The switch function will ensure that both versions of the place will appear, so what's the problem? I didn't see any complaints about the Shoal Cave, which had a similar function in the infobox. Nor do I hear any complaints about the Arceus article which constantly shifts its type. And until today, no one complained about the Mirage Island Article. Tempest370 18:44, 18 January 2011 (UTC)

In that case we can change the switch so that it shows the Island 90% of time. Or we can do it like the Arceus article, which switches every time you refresh the pageTempest370 19:05, 18 January 2011 (UTC).

Just going to butt in here. The infobox picture for Mirage island must show Mirage Island. Not an empty square of water tiles. Water tiles tell the visitors to the page nothing, unless they can also see the picture of the island. That's why it's okay for Arceus—the picture may switch, but it is always Arceus. If you want to add the other picture to the article, I'd suggest adding it to the section where it explains Mirage Island's appearance (or more often lack of it). Also, when pages with switchers get stored in the server cache, resulting in them getting stuck on one result for a period of time, even if it is reloaded. The gallery section is fine, but the infobox still must show Mirage Island. That isn't a problem with the HGSS eyecatches, because they all show the location. Werdnae (talk) 20:04, 18 January 2011 (UTC)

The empty patch of Route 130 does not show Mirage Island. Yes, sure most of the time Mirage Island isn't there. But the article isn't about the lack of Mirage Island. It is about Mirage Island when it does appear. Therefore the picture in the infobox should reflect that. Werdnae (talk) 20:27, 18 January 2011 (UTC)

Hey man, in accordance to this, I just thought I'd point out that when you link to users using the u template (or any template for that matter) that you use {{ }} these brackets and not [[ ]] these ones. :) It'll help prevent wanted pages from showing up. Pokabu82's back on, and we're moving to the forums

Get set up of the forums. Team Budew is already up on the forums as a group. After 10 posts I think you can join. Pokabu82 is back on the team too, he just didn't wanna break any rules that the staff made so he quit, but now he's rejoined. That user hadn't edited since you added the first message, plus by the time you added the second one, I doubt they had even read it. Next time there, another warning should be given if they continue or reply. Also the tone of your messages were kind of rude, so could you make it a little nicer next time? Glad you like it. It's made by alot of confusing (well to me) coding. I got it from another user. Feel free to copy the coding. Actually the colors go by pokemon type. The one set right now is "Ice Color" Where ever you see "Ice color" in that long coding replace it with the type you want. (ie. Fire color) --Pokemaster 97 21:16, 10 May 2011 (UTC)

Talk pages

While it's great that you're trying to help out, if there's a staff member actively talking to a user about rules, could you leave a bit of time for a staff member to respond? Often we type up responses containing a relatively detailed explanation, and it's annoying to be edit conflicted by a regular user who's trying to enforce the rules like an admin simply stating the rule with different wording. There's a difference between a vandal (i.e. someone who deliberately vandalizes pages to cause harm) and someone who is misinformed and not knowledgeable about things. Please don't assume everyone is a vandal when they create a poorly written page, when it is very likely they meant no harm.
